Valley View Mall Finally Being Demolished to Make Way for Luxury Apartments

After years of back-and-forth between the property owner and the city of Dallas, the long-awaited demolition of the vacant Valley View Mall is finally happening.
The six-story structure will include 26,000 square feet of retail space and 275 luxury residential units.
The former mall has been vacant for years, and its demolition has been delayed several times due to legal challenges.
The final remains of the mall were torn down in April 2023, and construction on the new development is expected to begin soon.
